Fab Furniture Flippin Contest - August Winner (D. Lawless sponsored)

Whoa buddy did you guys take a look at the calendar?  It's that time to announce our August winner for this edition of the Fab Furniture Flippin Contest.

I can't believe we are here already.... School has started for us which has had me on the go go go....with school clothes & supply shopping!  My baby girl started kindergarten this year which on one hand makes me sad, but on the other I am excited about her next journey in life.

August brought on some serious talent... we are seeing the bar being raised each month.  That not only makes it exciting for us, but also really hard to judge!  We are so lucky to have amazing sponsors each month, and this month was no different.  This month our sponsor is one of my favorite go-to for hardware and accessories for my makeovers... D.Lawless Hardware with the theme "icing on the cake"!

D. Lawless Hardware is a family owned and operated company specializing in knobspulls, hinges, casters, appliqués and so much more! Not only do they offer a great selection of hardware and furniture necessities, but they work so hard to provide a great customer experience with incredibly low prices!

Here are my "icing on the cake" favorites, which was not an easy thing for me to pick!  I had a hard time narrowing down my picks... and, this month I have 5 FIVE favorites.  Picking from 30 amazing entries wasn't easy people!

I am loving this IKEA hack by Leslie from Paper Daisy Design.  Trust me folks this is nothing what this dresser started out as.  Leslie did a phenomenal job at taking something so blah & boring to a standout, eye-catching piece!  I just love the design & details!

We all know I am a sucker for any curbside find!  This sweet record player was in some sort of shape that I am not sure I would have given it a second glance.  But, I am happy Robin from Redo It Yourself Inspirations dragged it home even though it had a bit of an attitude!  Robin prevailed and turned this into a stunning piece that I'd welcome into my home any day!

I am blown away by the gorgeousness of this mirror by Lucy of Patina Paradise!  Lucy totally knocked this out of the ballpark.  The talent & creativity....oh and the technique is just amazing.  I am certain you will also agree!

Let's talk a moment about this cabinet... I love what Christine from Lets Get Crafty did to turn this apothecary cabinet into a lovely vintage industrial show stopper.  I am in love with the way she stumbled upon her aging technique.  It's beautiful!!

And, well facing the facts that "coffee is always a good idea"...not that I'm an addict or anything, ok well maybe just a little.  But, this just rocks!  I love that Michelle from Michelle James Designs created this fun coffee station for her sons dorm room!!

The judges have spoken and our votes have been cast.  The lucky winner of the August Fab Furniture Flippin Contest sponsored by D. Lawless Hardware goes to...

Lucy of Patina Paradise with her amazing mirror transformation!!!  Congrats to Lucy on a job very well done!!! Lucy will be receiving a D. Lawless $200 gift certificate.

But....wait folks that's not all.... We have a 2nd place winner this month.  D. Lawless is giving a $50 gift certificate to our runner-up Leslie from Paper Daisy Design!  Congratulations Leslie!

Thank you all to the amazing talented participants!!  It was a fun month & I enjoyed looking at all of your creations!

Don't forget to pop in to my fun co-hosts to see their favorite picks for this month, and don't forget to tune in next month to see us get our geometric design on with General Finishes!!!
