A day in the life of Apple Picking & recipes you're sure to want to try!

Tis the season of all things fall.

This is by far my favorite time of the year.  The days are not too hot not too cold...just right.

With windows open, in with a whisper comes a nice wrestling of leaves that brings a smell all too familiar, crisp fall mornings.

Our family loves to take trips out to the local You Pick Em farms for a little apple picking!!

While eating our weight in apples as we pick apples with care.

The farm is in full swing with families enjoying quality time together!

The apple trees are filled full of yummy goodness...

The farm is beautifully lined with mums....

bustling with kids petting the goats

and, donkeys...

eyeing pumpkins in the pumpkin patch to bring home.

Running through the corn maze, finding our way through to the end....still holding onto yet another apple to consume!

Our final pick of the day is the grape... Oh the grapes.  As we walked towards the vines, the air was filled with a smell of grape juice.  So sweet smelling.

By far it was one of our best days as a family.  My girls ran, laughed, and ate junk!

Oh those apple cider donuts will get ya every.single.time!

What better way to spend a Saturday.

The farm we visited was Dubois Farms in Highland, NY.  We've been there many times, and always walk away with a great experience.  Our family highly recommends Dubois Farms!!

You can visit their website here for more details.
