I wanted to do some with sisal... I also did a couple of Christmas trees :)
And, so I sat down & went to work.
If you have a glue gun, sisal and foam forms...you can do this!
I picked up the sisal (dark & light color) at Tractor Supply, but I know I've seen it at Home Depot, Lowes, craft stores, etc. TSC has these large rolls for I believe $9.99, there is lots of sisal there!
The foam forms you can get in multiple places. I happen to pick mine up at WalMart. I've seen them at the dollar stores and of course craft stores have them.
I added some little embellishments to them.. Nothing to fancy, but just a little something.
Really a super simple little project. I sat down and did these while watching TV with maybe a glass of wine. I love how they came out.
Total cost for the ball ornaments -
Foam balls - $3 for a 6 pack ($.50/each)
sisal - $10 for 50 feet (used about 2 feet - $.40)
numbers - $6.80 for 9 ($.71/each)
Total - $1.61 (not including glue sticks)
The trees are a bit more -
Tree form - $3
Sisal - (2 1/2 feet) $.50
Berries - $.80
I had the star from another craft I did..
Total $4.30
I have more ball foams, and I plan to make more with a few different embellishments that I have on hand.
I hope you enjoyed!!
With much love, peace & happiness~
